I. Product Overview
1. Definition
Workshop storage isolation net (also known as industrial isolation net or warehouse zoning net) is a protective isolation facility specially designed for indoor and outdoor industrial scenarios such as factory workshops, logistics warehouses, and industrial parks. By combining metal mesh with columns and frames, it forms a barrier with clear boundaries and demarcable Spaces. Its core functions are to achieve area separation, safety protection, goods management, and process standardization.

2. Core role
Spatial zoning management: Divide the workshop production line area, warehouse storage locations (such as raw material area, finished product area, and inspection area), equipment operation area, and personnel passageways to avoid cross-regional interference and enhance operational efficiency.
Safety protection: Isolate dangerous areas (such as mechanical operation areas, high-voltage equipment areas, and chemical storage areas) to prevent non-operation personnel from entering by mistake and causing safety accidents. At the same time, protect valuable equipment, precision instruments or high-value goods from collision and damage.
Goods protection: Prevent personnel from touching the goods at will to reduce the risk of loss or damage to the goods. For goods that are prone to moisture and contamination, a semi-enclosed space can be formed in combination with protective nets to assist in dust prevention and moisture control.
Process norms: Guide the direction of personnel and logistics (such as the driving path of forklifts and personnel passages within the warehouse), clarify the operation routes, reduce the risk of cross-operation collisions, and comply with industrial safety management regulations.

Ii. Product Classification
1. Classification by structural form
| Type | Structural features | Applicable scenarios |
Frame-type isolation fence | The mesh (welded mesh/woven mesh) is surrounded by rectangular metal frames (commonly Angle steel/square tubes) welded together. The frames are fixed to the columns by bolts, ensuring a stable structure and strong impact resistance | Heavy-duty workshops (such as mechanical processing workshops), isolation of storage locations in large logistics warehouses, and equipment protection areas (which need to withstand slight impacts from forklifts) |
Double-strand wire isolation fence | The mesh is welded from longitudinal and transverse wires on both sides and connected to the columns through clips. It has a light structure, is easy to disassemble and assemble, and has a relatively low cost | Light workshops (such as electronic assembly workshops), temporary zoning of warehouses, and isolation of non-load-bearing areas (without the risk of heavy impact) |
Warehouse cage isolation fence | It adopts a folding metal frame + welded mesh structure, which can be folded and stored as a whole. It is equipped with a door lock and has both isolation and temporary storage functions | Small warehouses, temporary goods turnover areas, and movable zones (such as seasonal goods storage area adjustments) |
Steel plate mesh isolation fence | The mesh is formed by stretching steel plates (diamond-shaped holes/square holes), with no welding points, high strength, good air permeability, and its surface can be treated with plastic spraying or galvanizing | Mechanical processing workshops (to prevent metal debris from splashing), isolation areas for high-pressure equipment, and areas that require both protection and visibility |
Mobile guardrail isolation fence | The mesh and the column are designed as an integrated unit. The bottom is equipped with universal wheels or support feet, eliminating the need for fixed installation and allowing for easy movement and position adjustment at any time | Temporary operation areas in workshops (such as equipment maintenance areas), temporary isolation belts in warehouses, and exhibition storage areas (requiring frequent layout adjustments) |
2. Classify by material
| Material type | Core component | Advantages | Disadvantage | Applicable environment |
Hot-dip galvanized isolation fence | Low-carbon steel base material+hot-dip galvanized coating(zinc coating thickness≥80μm) | It has strong anti-corrosion properties,is resistant to moisture and industrial dust, and has a service life of 12 to 18 years | The surface color is monotonous(silver-gray),and the cost is higher than that of cold galvanizing | Damp workshops (such as food processing and dyeing workshops),outdoor storage areas |
Dipped plastic isolation fence | Low-carbon steel base material+hot-dip galvanized(base)+PE/PVC plastic coating layer | It is rich in color (commonly blue, yellow and gray),has a smooth touch and excellent anti-corrosion property | The dippede plastic coating is prone to being scratched by sharp objects and is likely to age at high temperatures(> 90℃) | Electronic workshops, clean warehouses, and scenarios that require color zoning (such as marking different storage locations with different colors) |
Stainless steel isolation fence | 304/316 stainless steel(containing chromium≥18%,nickel≥8%) | Pesistant to acid and alkali corrosion,rust-free,easy to clean, and requires no frequnet maintenance | It has a high cost (about 2 to 4 times that of hot-dip galvanized mesh)and relatively weak impactresistance | Chemical workshops (corrosive gas/liquid environments),food and pharmaceutical warehouses (must be sterile and easy to clean) |
Aluminum alloy isolation fence | 6061/6063 aluminum alloy (containing magnesium and silicon) | It is light in weight(only1/3 that of steel),resistant to oxidation, easy to process and has a beautiful appearance | It has relatively low strength and cannot withstand heavy impacts(such as forklift collosopns) | Lightweight elecrtonic workshop, office and warehouse combined area (both aesthetics and basic isolation need to be taken into account) |
3.Classification by purpose
Workshop area isolation net:It is used to separate production lines from passageways and different process areas(such as stamping area and assembly area).Commonly used isolation nets are frame-type and steel plate mesh.
Warehouse storage location isolation net:It is used to divide the raw material area, finished product area and non-conforming product area.Commonly used are frame type and double-strand wire isolation nets (which can be used in conjuciton with signboards).
Equipment protection isolation net:Surrounding large machinery,high-voltage equipment, and robot workstations to prevent personnle contact, commonly used are steel plate nets and frame-type isolation nets(higth≥1.8m).
Hazardous area isolation net:It is usede to isolate chemical storage areas and flammable and explosive material areas. It should be equipped with door locks and warnign clolrs (such as yellow).Commonly used types include frame-type and stainless steel isolation nets.

Iii. Product Selection Guide
1.Select the model according to the scene requirements
| Scene type | Core requirements | Recommended product types | Material suggestions |
| Heavy Machinert Workshop | High impact resistance and stable protection | Frame-type isolation net, steel palte mesh isolation net | Hot -dip galvanizing(dust-tesistant,impact-tesistant) |
| Large logistics warehouse | The storage locations are zoned and can be coordinated with forklift operations | Frame-type isolation net (heighe 1.5-2.0m) | Hot-dip galvanizing+Plastic coating(balancing anti-corrosion and aesthetics, easy to mark |
| Electronic/Food workshop | Clean, easy to clean, and with color zoning | Dipped plastic isolation net, stainless steel isolation net | Dip molding (blue/white),304 stainless steel (food workshop) |
| Chemical/corrosive environment | Acid and alkali resistant,anti-corrosion | Stainless steel isolation net (316 material),hot-dip galvanized isolation net | 316 stainless steel (strong corrosion),hot-dip galvanizde (weak corrosion) |
| Temporary adjustment area | Flexible to move and easy to store | Mobile guardrail isolation net, warehouse cage isolation net | Dip molding (lightweight, easy to clean) |
2. Select the type based on the risk level
Low-risk areas (such as ordinary raw material warehouses and personnel passages) : Choose double-strand wire isolation nets or lightweight plastic-coated isolation nets, which are cost-effective and easy to install.
Medium-risk areas (such as assembly lines and finished product warehouses) : Select frame-type isolation nets, which take into account both stability and protection.
High-risk areas (such as mechanical processing areas, chemical storage areas, and high-voltage equipment areas) : Select steel plate mesh isolation nets or stainless steel isolation nets, equipped with door locks, with a height of ≥2.0m to ensure safety protection.
