By Material Type

- Galvanized Barbed Tape

  Made from galvanized steel wire, it offers strong anti-corrosion properties. Galvanization is divided into electro-galvanizing and hot-dip galvanizing. Hot-dip galvanized Barbed tape has superior corrosion resistance and a longer lifespan, making it suitable for railways, highways, border defense, and other protective applications.

- Stainless Steel Barbed Tape

  Made from stainless steel wire, it offers corrosion resistance, high strength, and an attractive appearance. It maintains excellent performance in various harsh environments without rusting, making it ideal for high-end residential areas, villa complexes, coastal resorts, and other settings that prioritize aesthetics and durability.

- Plastic-Coated Barbed tape

- Standard Barbed Tape 

  Features simple straight barbs, relatively low cost, and easy installation. Widely used in general protective projects such as farmlands, pastures, and orchards. Specifications are mainly determined by wire gauge, barb spacing, and barb length:  

  - Wire Gauge: Common sizes include 12# (~2.75mm), 13# (~2.45mm), and 14# (~2.15mm). Higher numbers indicate thinner wire.  

  - Barb Spacing: Common intervals are 7.5cm, 10cm, and 15cm. Smaller spacing enhances protection.

  - Razor Blade Barbed Tape

  Features sharp spiral-shaped blades distributed along the wire, offering strong deterrence and protection. Mainly used in high-security locations such as prisons, detention centers, military bases, and critical border areas. Specifications depend on blade length, width, and core wire diameter, with common models including BTO-10, BTO-15, BTO-18, and BTO-22.

By Construction Type

- Single-Strand Barbed Tape  

  Consists of a single wire with evenly spaced barbs. Simple in structure and relatively strong, it is suitable for areas with straightforward terrain and moderate protection needs, such as small farms or construction sites.

- Double-Strand Barbed Tape 

  Made by twisting two wires together with attached barbs, it offers greater stability and better protective performance compared to single-strand tape. Widely used in various perimeter protection projects, including roads, railways, airports, and similar applications.
